Genesis Water Technologies, Inc. Named National Winner of SBA’s 2020 Exporter of the Year Award

Genesis Water Technologies, Inc. (GWT) has been named the 2020 Small Business Exporter of the Year by the Small Business Administration (SBA), in addition to having been the winner for the SBA North Florida District, SBA State of Florida and SBA Southeast Region competitions. The company will be recognized during SBA’s National Small Business Week, an annual event honoring the accomplishments and contributions of the best small businesses in the nation.

Central Florida Small Business Wins SBA’s 2020 Exporter of the Year Award

Genesis Water Technologies, Inc. Business Recovery Teams: New Florida SBDC at UCF Program Helps Companies Impaired by COVID-19 Get Back to Business and Get Back to Growth

The newly created Business Recovery Team (BRT) program has been designed by the FSBDC at UCF to help companies develop and implement customized business strategies designed to assist in recovery after the unexpected disruptions of COVID-19 and to build sustainability thereafter, including through realigning their business model and adapting to a new environment. This is a new and distinctive service from the FSBDC.

SBI® National Honors won by UCF Students in FSBDC at UCF Program

The Small Business Institute® (SBI®) recently announced that two (2) student teams from the University of Central Florida’s College of Business Administration (UCF CBA) were winners in its annual Project of the Year (POY) competition, taking 2nd place in the 2020 ‘Graduate Specialized’ category and 2nd place in the 2020  ‘Graduate Consulting Project’ category, respectively.
