Florida SBDC at Seminole State College

The Florida SBDC at Seminole State College is a partnership program with U.S. Small Business Administration. As a sub-center of the Florida SBDC at University of Central Florida and a member of the Florida SBDC Network, the Florida SBDC at Seminole State College has been actively serving the entrepreneurs of Seminole County since 1993. The Florida SBDC at Seminole State College acts as the lead support agency for the Center for Business Development.

Services

• Consulting | confidential no-cost consulting sessions with professional business consultants from the Florida SBDC at UCF – Sumter County. Consulting services include Business Planning, Financial Management, Access to Capital, Marketing, Government Contracting, and more.
• Training | Educational events provides current and practical information on a wide range of business topics ranging from the basics to advanced business management skills. Topics include Start-Up Assistance, Digital Marketing and Government Contracting.
• Business Research | With our connection to the Florida SBDC Network and the University of Central Florida, we have access to high-cost databases and business research resources, as well as experts who can interpret and implement this information effectively. Additionally, Seminole County residents have free access to the Seminole County Library’s databases and research resources. These research tools are expensive but are free to use with a Seminole County public library card.
